Everything the app creates is stored in your device's own storage:
Usernames and passwords are held in the device's secure key store (Android Keystore). Uninstalling the app removes all of this data from your device.
Vantis contains no analytics SDK, advertising identifier, crash reporting library or user tracking of any kind. We do not know which channels you open, how often you use the app, or what your device identifier is.
Vantis is a media player and supplies no content. It connects directly from your device to the address you enter — that traffic does not pass through us.
A natural consequence: the provider you connect to can see your device's IP address and the requests it makes. What that provider collects is governed by their own privacy policy and is outside our control.
If you purchase inside the app, the transaction is handled by Google Play and by RevenueCat, our subscription infrastructure. These services process an anonymous device identifier and receipt data in order to validate the purchase. Your payment details are taken by Google and never reach us.
If you activate with a licence key instead, verification happens entirely on your device, offline — no service is contacted at all.
If you installed the app from Google Play, Google may collect installation and basic crash data under its own policies. This is independent of our application code and is governed by Google's privacy policy.
Because we hold no data about you, there is no record for us to correct or export, and no profile to object to. Everything is on your device and under your control — see the next section for how to remove it.
Everything Vantis stores is on your own device, so deletion is something you can do yourself at any time:
If you have made a purchase, the record of that purchase is held by Google Play and RevenueCat so that your licence keeps working. To have that record deleted as well, write to vantis@atomicmail.io with the email address used for the purchase. We will confirm within 30 days. Deleting it ends the licence, so you would need to buy again to keep using the app.
Licence keys issued directly are verified offline and hold no personal data at all.
Vantis is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
If this policy changes, this page is updated and the date above changes with it. Any material change to how data is handled will also be announced inside the app.
